Alexander Meschtscherjakov is University Associate at the Department for Computer Science. He works within the HCI unit of the ICT&S-Center. He holds a master’s and doctor’s degree in computer science from the University of Salzburg. He leads and is involved in various national and international projects. Among others he leads a team within the Christian-Doppler-Laboratory „Contextual Interfaces“. His research focus on Human-Computer-Interaction, User Experience research, Persuasive Technologies, Ambient Intelligence, Automotive User Interfaces, and Research through Design. In addition, he is teaching various basic and advanced HCI lectures (e.g. User Interface Design, User Interface Engineering, Advanced HCI).
