MorphoPhysics Group

Publications
The following selected list of publications give an indication of the sort of research we work on within the group. For a full publication list see here. These publications come from work done within the former group of John Dunlop, Biomimetic Actuation and Tissue Growth, in the   Department of Biomaterials, Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Potsdam, Germany. Our research interests range from exploring:
  • the role of substrate geometry on cells and growing tissues,
  • mechanical design principles of morphing materials (natural and synthetic),
  • structure-function relationships in biological materials, and
  • simulations of active matter.
