Hanan Badr as Expert on the topics of Education, Transformation and Gender at the Salzburg Global Seminar

Prof.  Dr. Hanan Badr, Head of Public Spheres and Inequalities, was invited as a speaker to the Salzburg Global Conference  Education, Transformation and Gender: Better Outcomes for Everyone, which took place from the 12th to the17th of December 2022 in Schloss Leopoldskron. Dr. Dina Wahba, post-doctoral researcher in the department, also participated in the conference. Together with 50 experts from all over the world, they discussed possible solutions and approaches to solving inequality in education on a global scale. In the panel discussion Storytelling and Change, Hanan Badr shared through the means of her own biography the ways in which education can make a difference in the lives of marginalised people.
