Doctoral Studies Educational Science / Pedagogy

After completing a BA and MA degree course, you have the option of completing a doctorate course that comprises 180 ECTS credits. This corresponds to a study duration of 6 semesters (full-time study).
The Doctoral Program in Educational Science / Pedagogy is not assigned to the department, but to the faculty.

Since October 2017, the Doctoral course of lectures “Education of the Subject” is active.
Since 2014, as a graduate of a teacher training course, it has been possible to take the interfaculty “Doctoral Program in Teacher Training at the School of Education” (curriculum version 2017).
