CHINESE-AUSTRIAN-EU SUMMER SCHOOL ONLINE 2021

Honorable Presidents, Professors and Directors, Dear Colleagues, Dear Students, Dear Friends!

As we can see and hear in the media, the world-wide situation regarding COVID-19 is still not under control. Exit restrictions and bans shape our everyday lives.
Due the aforementioned reasons, and for the safety of the prospective participants of the Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School 2021, we are unfortunately forced to break our tradition of holding the Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School for students from our Chinese partner universities and our dear friends on place in Europe and have therefore decided to offer an ONLINE version of the Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School.

Details and information on the planned ONLINE Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School 2021 will soon be posted. We are looking forward, with hope and determination in our hearts to continuing our cooperation and friendship also via the ONLINE mode of the Summer School.

As the Director of the Chinese Studies Center, I would like to personally express my gratitude to you for the fruitful cooperation and trust over the years and for your interest in the Chinese-Austrian-EU Summer School.

My team and I are very much looking forward to continuing our friendship and cooperation and to accompanying you in your quest for getting to know the European Union better in the years to come – this year, as an exception, for the first time in ONLINE mode.

Yours sincerely,
Judith Suchanek
