14 PhD positions for MSCA Doctoral Network “Spatial crosstalk in Immuno-oncology (spaXio)” now open

spaXio, an EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network within the CIVIS European University Alliance (civis.eu) and coordinated by the University of Salzburg, is recruiting 14 PhD candidates at multiple locations within the EU to investigate how cancer metastasizes and interacts with the immune system using spatial multi-omics, 3D tumoroids, and AI-driven analysis.

spaXio connects leading cancer researchers across Austria, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Spain. Our 14 interdisciplinary PhD projects will decode the dynamic processes of metastasis — where cancer, metabolism, and the immune system converge.
