Guest Lecture Series „Theories and Debates in Geography“ WS25/26

“Theory and Debates in Geography” WS25/26, organized by Prof. Christian Zeller

This time, the lecture series focuses on the topic „Emancipatory perspectives in a multipolar world of tension“ to analyze current geo-economic and geopolitical tensions.

For the fourth lecture on December 16, we welcome Jess Spear, a climate scientist and activist from Dublin, Ireland.

She will share her expertise and provide valuable insights into the latest trends on the topic of “Women in the Vanguard.” As always, the lecture will be followed by an open discussion.

„Recognising the impact of actually existing capitalism on working-class women is vital if we want to understand where radical struggles will emerge and how they can spark a broader movement for ecosocialism.”

The lecture will take place online again. To participate, please click on the link below!
