Live-Konzert mit Maria Farantouri

On behalf of the organising committee (Prof. Dr. Wassilios Baros – Department of Educational Science at PLUS, Prof. Dr. Sabine Coelsch-Foisner – Department of English & American Studies at PLUS, Prof. Dr. Heinz Sünker – University of Wuppertal), we are pleased to cordially invite you to the Ernst Bloch Symposion Salzburg (8-10 June 2022) with the title “Utopia and Resistance. Ideology Critique – Political Music – Education”.

To kick off the symposion, the famous singer Maria Farantouri will perform at the

concert in the “Großen Universitätsaula” of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg.

The alarming developments in Europe demand our awareness of the endangerment and defence of democratic values more than ever. With the exclusive live concert in Salzburg of the world-famous performer Maria Farantouri, we want to set a sign – against tendencies of de-democratisation and for peace in Europe!

  • Where? Great Hall of the University of Salzburg (Große Universitätsaula) at the Max-Reinhardt-Platz in the Festival District

Ticket price and registration

  • 10 Euro per ticket – children up to 12 years have free entrance
  •  Registration (in German) for the live concert (due to limited ticket contingent only while stocks last!)
