Workshop “Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations in Salzburg 2025”

From November 5 to 7, 2025, the workshop Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations in Salzburg 2025 took place at the Department of Mathematics, University of Salzburg. The workshop was organized by Simon Blatt, Verena Bögelein, Frank Duzaar, and Naian Liao, bringing together internationally renowned experts as well as early-career researchers to discuss recent developments in nonlinear partial differential equations.

The workshop series was initiated in 2023 and has been held annually in the historic Stuba Academica of the University of Salzburg. Participants were once again impressed by the charm and atmosphere of the city of Salzburg and the unique ambiance of the workshop venue. The scientific program featured five thematic sessions, covering topics such as p-Laplace equations, classical semilinear equations, and geometric partial differential equations. In addition to invited talks by leading experts, the program included several short contributed talks by participants, particularly PhD students and postdocs, providing young researchers the opportunity to present their current work and engage with leading scholars in the field. The workshop once again served as an excellent platform for scientific exchange and interdisciplinary networking, fostering stimulating discussions and the formation of new collaborations.

Further information on the workshop can be found on the website.
