Questions and Answers on International Law in the Ukraine Conflict

Question and answer session with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Kirsten Schmalenbach for students and staff of the PLUS, Friday 4th March 2022.

Due to current events, the International Law Department at PLUS gave students and staff of the Faculty of Law, Business and Economics the opportunity to ask questions on the international legal assessment of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the reactions of the international community. The lively participation enabled an interesting and extensive exchange on this topic. The discussion was held in German.

After a short introduction by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Kirsten Schmalenbach, questions from the audience were asked via chat. The moderation was taken over by Maga. Sara Wissmann, research assistant at the Department of International Law.

On a monthly basis, every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m., Prof. Martinez will interview experts on current developments in agricultural law in legislation, case law or legal practice. Guest Lecturer Winter Semester 2020/2021

Barrierefreiheit: Kurzbeschreibung des BildesIn the winter semester 2020/2021, we were pleased to welcome a visiting professor at the Department of International Law.

Mr Priv.-Doz. Dr. Paul Gragl took over the course “Public International Law I” in the winter semester. Mr Gragl is professor of International Law, European Law and Legal Theory. Since 2018 he has been assistant professor at the Queen Mary University of London.

Paul Gragl has been a university professor at the Institute for European Law at the University of Graz since 1 April 2021.
