Daniel is a postdoctoral fellow in the FWF / DFG project, ‘How Can We Think in a Language?, led by Prof Dr Christopher Gauker (University of Salzburg) and Prof Dr Nikola Kompa (University of Osnabrück). His central area of research is the philosophy of mind, focussing on inner speech and dreams. He also does some work applying material from the philosophy of mind and cognitive science to try to illuminate issues in legal decision-making.
