Christoph Mödlhamer is a PhD Fellow and Researcher in International Politics in the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Salzburg. He completed his Master’s degree in political science in September 2017 at the University of Salzburg. In his Master’s thesis “Democracy, Property Rights, and Sectoral Foreign Direct Investment – A Sector-Specific Re-Evaluation of FDI Determinants”, he quantitatively analysed democracy’s and property rights protection’s influences on disaggregated sectoral FDI-inflows.The research interest lies in the field of international political economy, with a focus on global investment flows.
He obtained Bachelor’s degrees in political science, and in communication studies in 2014, both at the University of Salzburg.
