Victoria Reitter is a research assistant and PhD fellow at the Department of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Salzburg since October 1, 2017. She studied International Business Administration (Mag.a) at the Vienna University of Economics in Vienna and at the Högskolan i Halmstad in Sweden. After completing her studies at the Department of Cultural and Social Anthropology (BA, MA) at the University of Vienna, she worked as a research associate in two projects. The first was called “INSIDE the Deportation Gap – Social Membership for Non-Deported Persons” based within the research group The Politics of Inclusion and Exclusion (INEX) at the Department for Political Science in Vienna, and the second focused on “Values and Expectations of Refugees in Austria” at the Institute for Urban and Regional Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. In her dissertation, she deals with statelessness in the context of flight migration to the European Union.
