What will I learn?

Students will learn how to prepare Greek texts for lessons independently and how to translate and interpret Greek texts of medium difficulty from all periods and genres present in the school curriculum autonomously and competently. They will also learn how to choose texts from Greek literature according to the requirements of their classes and school curricula, and to prepare them for pupils under consideration of academic standards. Furthermore, students hone their academic research skills and techniques and learn how to impart the fundamental guidelines of academic thinking and action in class. MEd graduates will be able to evaluate the valency of competence-based curricula and to actively engage in the improvement and alteration of curricula.

Which career opportunities do I have?

Graduates are qualified to teach the subject Greek at secondary schools. Other occupations include library work, the publishing sector, and art and culture mediation.
