What will I learn?
Students will deepen their knowledge and acquire new competences especially in the field of New Latin. They will hone their academic research skills and techniques and learn how to impart the fundamental guidelines of academic thinking and action in class. Moreover, students learn how to prepare Latin texts for lessons independently and how to translate and interpret Latin texts of medium difficulty from all periods and genres present in the school curriculum autonomously and competently. Graduates will be able to choose texts from Latin literature according to the requirements of their classes and school curricula, and to prepare them for pupils under consideration of academic standards.
Which career opportunities do I have?
Graduates are qualified to teach the subject Latin at secondary schools. Other possible occupations include library work, the publishing sector, and art and culture mediation.
