Cambridge University Press

Since 2020, there is an Open Access agreement between the University of Salzburg and the publisher Cambridge University Press. Authors of the University of Salzburg have the possibility to publish in the journals of the publisher with hybrid option Open Access without restrictions and without additional costs.

In which journals can I publish? 
In all subscribed journals of CUP with Open Access option. A list can be found  here.

Which article types are accepted?

  • Research Article
  • Review Article
  • Rapid Communication

Which license is granted?
CC-BY 4.0

How are eligible authors identified?
Identification is done by indicating the affiliation when submitting the article and the university email address.

Procedure:

  1. Eligible publications are identified by Cambridge University Press upon submission.
  2. Subsequently, the University Library verifies whether the corresponding author actually belongs to the University of Salzburg.
  3. After verification by the University Library, Cambridge University Press sends the Creative Commons license to the author for signature.
  4. The article will be published Open Access.
