The Systems Immunology Group led by Thomas Krausgruber uses a combination of high-throughput genomics/epigenomics/transcriptomics technology and in vitro/in vivo assays to mechanistically dissect the underappreciated complexity of immune functions beyond hematopoietic cells. The group focuses on structural cells, such as epithelium and fibroblasts, and their contribution to tissue-specific immunity in response to perturbation.
