Are you interested in taking part of a discussion about „How to restore democracy?“

Then you have the opportunity to attend the roundtable discussion with  Kinga Koranyi,  Aleksandra Maatsch and Michael Blauberger on the 15 April from 18:15 to 19:45, Edmundsburg – Europasaal.

The roundtable will discuss the implications of Hungary’s 12 April parliamentary elections and the prospects for restoring democracy after years under Viktor Orbán. It will also draw lessons from Poland’s experience since 2023 on the challenges of rebuilding the rule of law.

The roundtable discussion is the public kick-off event of a two-day research workshop on „The multi-level challenges of EU rule of law protection“, which brings together experts on EU multi-level politics in the area of rule of law protection and democratic backsliding.
