ECHO
Was started by me, Nina (Zina). I use it to create and self-publish my zines, comix and pamphlets, and sometimes music, spoken word, postcards, buttons, and crafts. Among the zines I’ve made are Same Heartbeats, Flapper Gathering, Radix, Space Invasion, From Spice Girls to Riot Grrrls, and Echotopia. I’d like to encourage others to make zines too and contribute to a worldwide feminist DIY zine culture. That’s why I regularly organise zine events and teach zine workshops.

FATLIB ARCHIV
This archive does not claim to, nor could it, represent the entirety of fat activist or fat liberation movement history. It starts with what I had in my filing cabinet – evidence of some self-identified fat-liberation-oriented lives, thoughts, conversations, creativity, activism, community – mostly from radicals, queers and feminists. The rest of what is here so far has come from people in my network. I recognize this as both an asset (I have connections to folks of multiple generations doing fat liberation work) and a limitation (my network is, by definition, limited. It skews white and US-based).

Lesbian Herstory Archives
Our zines collection spans more than 170 items from the 1970s through the present day. Zines are arranged alphabetically by title. These small magazines are mostly produced by hand by their creators in small batches and contain images and text on themes like sexuality, poetry, art, history, and activism. Zines are available for browsing onsite at the Archives.

QZAP Zine Archive
The Queer Zine Archive Project (QZAP) was first launched in November 2003 in an effort to preserve queer zines and make them available to other queers, researchers, historians, punks, and anyone else who has an interest DIY publishing and underground queer communities. To get started with the zine archive try browsing through the collections or searching for specific terms. Our main collection is organized as alphabetical by title („Zines E-H“ for example.) We generate metadata (information about the zine) from the zines themselves, try searching on a keyword (e.g. queercore), a year (e.g. 1996) or place (e.g. Toronto.).

zinelibraries.info
The zine libraries interest group is a collective of people interested in all aspects of zine libraries. The group is very informal and most of the activity takes place on the zine librarians e-mail list. No credentials are required to be a part of the action—if you care about sharing and preserving zines, we’re glad to have you!
