Call for Application: Student Assistant for the ERC Project INCONEX The ERC-funded research project „Intangible and Invisible Interests, Concealed Constituents, and Excluded Electorates: Understanding the Politics of Absence“ (INCONEX), led by Dr. Lucy Kinski, is looking for a student assistant to join the team as soon as possible. The weekly working hours are 10 hours (potentially up to 20 hours). The initial contract is for 3 months with the possibility of extension.

The student assistants will provide support and assistance in all areas of the research project, including literature and data research, data processing, manual content analysis, and proofreading. An interest in and basic knowledge of comparative politics and European Union politics is expected, along with very good German and/or Spanish language skills and a reliable and diligent work ethic. Experience with data handling, particularly parliamentary data, as well as familiarity with manual content analysis (e.g., using MAXQDA) is an advantage. Additionally, an interest in automated text analysis would be beneficial. Applicants must be enrolled at either the BA or MA level.
