We are looking for a candidate who will join an international and interdisciplinary team of researchers focused on R&D of Nanovesicular therapeutics at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Nanovesicular Precision Medicine at the University Salzburg ( https://nvpm.lbg.ac.at/). The position is embedded within the research program line “Nanovesicular Drug delivery” which has a mission to develop, advance and characterise novel strategies for targeted and clinically viable delivery of modern therapeutics such as RNA, therapeutic proteins/peptides or PROTACs. Key responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the establishment and application of cellular, organoid and animal models of cancer to investigate and optimize tropism and function of nanovesicular drug formulations, e.g. by identification of novel targeting ligands. The project will closely interface with the cancer research area within the recently installed Life Science Centre Salzburg and involve interdisciplinary collaborations ranging from chemistry to in vivo pharmacology and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The position will be a full-time assignment (40h/week) with an initial term until 12/2027 and a perspective for extension until 2030.
