The Department of Sociology and Human Geography will hold its first Career Day for students of the department on May 28! All interested students are cordially invited!

The call for applications for the Erika Weinzierl Prize (EUR 3,000) and the Erika Weinzierl Scholarship (EUR 2,500) is now open! These awards recognize theses and dissertation projects that engage innovatively with gender studies and intersectional issues.

The application deadline for the first half of 2026 expires on 31 May 2025. The Scientist-in-Residence program invites young scientists from different disciplines to a one-month work stay in Salzburg – “city of knowledge”.
