Research at the PLUS

Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS) is a regionally anchored and internationally very well networked research institution. As a high-profile comprehensive university, it stands out due to its great diversity of subjects and its 2,000 academics who significantly determine the profile of the PLUS through their excellent research. The research activities of the faculties are based on the central themes “Art in Context”, “Development and Sustainability”, “Digital Life” and “Health and Mind”, with the research being shaped by three main research areas and a number of centers.Interactions between scientists from all disciplines promote close interdisciplinary cooperation, building bridges between science and business and thus making a sustainable contribution to positive development in the Salzburg region. Another hallmark of the PLUS is research-based teaching. It combines diverse research services with an excellent teaching offer for all students.
