On October 8, the members of the Sociology Division within the Department of Sociology and Human Geography will welcome you as part of the STEOP courses “Introduction to Sociology (Einführung in die Soziologi)” and “Structure and Content of the Sociology Program (Struktur und Inhalte des Soziologiestudiums).” Before you begin learning about the structure, organization, and options for shaping your degree program—as well as the sociological focus areas in the Spotlight—starting in the third week of the semester, your department has prepared some group activities for you during the first course session on October 8. In addition, the  Student Representatives Sociology (STV) will introduce itself and share its experiences and support services from its perspective. And, of course, there will be some refreshments.
