Lena Leifeld completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Innsbruck and in Business Administration at the Management Centre Innsbruck. After an internship at the Centre for Family Businesses at the Management Center Innsbruck, she worked there as a project assistant from March 2019 to August 2022. During this time, she was able to work on various projects alongside her Master’s degree in Organisational Sciences and Sociology at the University of Innsbruck. She wrote her master’s thesis on brand strategies of family businesses at the Institute for Organisation and Learning. Since October 2022, she has been a university assistant at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and supports the Strategic Management and Organisation (SMO) unit. Her interdisciplinary research interests lie primarily in the areas of sustainable management, family businesses and change management.
