Europe’s leading childhood obesity congress unites scientists, clinicians and policymakers under the theme „ImpACT“ — with urgent calls for population-level prevention and new evidence on the management of children and adolescents living with obesity.

Registration period 1: 14–17 September 2026 | The Language Centre of the University of Salzburg once again offers a wide range of language courses in 12 different languages in the winter semester 2026/27. In addition to general language courses, the programme includes specialised courses such as Business English, academic language in German and English, “Culture and language: Austria and more” for learners of German, and a course on networked learning of Romance languages. The Language Centre also supports language learning through a variety of additional services, including a tandem partner exchange, Language Meetups, and language advicing for all languages.

New measurements conducted by the University of Salzburg at the Stubacher Sonnblickkees glacier confirm the dramatic loss of ice in the Alps. The findings complement recent international research and demonstrate that climate change is continuing to accelerate glacier melt, both regionally and globally.
