Anna Bolotina Honored with Teampool Award for Outstanding Master’s Thesis

On October 23, 2025, Teampool personal service gmbh recognized the exceptional achievements of students from the University of Salzburg’s Department of Computer Science. Among the honorees was Anna Bolotina, who received the teampool Award for her outstanding Master’s thesis on ‘The symbolic analysis of RISC-V code’. Her supervisors were Univ.-Prof. Christoph Kirsch and Univ.-Prof. Sebastian Forster. Anna Bolotina also participated in the FWF project “Distributed Algorithms for Fundamental Graph Problems”, which was led by Univ.-Prof. Sebastian Forster.

Her research enables the mathematical evaluation of program efficiency, offering an innovative approach with great potential for complex applications such as climate models. The award highlights Bolotina’s remarkable expertise and contribution to advancing computer science research.

The award ceremony took place at Teampool’s headquarters in Seekirchen, attended by University Rector Bernhard Fügenschuh, Vice-Rector Jutta Horejs-Höck, and teampool CEO Ewald Ottradovetz.

Ottradovetz emphasized the importance of fostering young talent:

“The award-winning works impressively demonstrate how much innovation and technical depth are already possible during academic studies,” he said.
