New CIVIS Online Course: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainable Mobility

Applications are now open for a new CIVIS course exploring one of the most urgent global challenges of our time: how to move people and goods in ways that are fair, efficient, and environmentally sustainable.

“Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Sustainable Mobility” is a fully online, asynchronous course designed for Master’s and PhD students from CIVIS member universities. Running from 6 October 2025 to 30 January 2026, the course offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary perspectives on mobility, sustainability, and social equity. Additionally, the course underscores the importance of integrating migration and gender perspectives into sustainable mobility, acknowledging their influence on infrastructure needs and fair access.

Through expert-led lectures, collaborative discussions, and independent research projects, participants will develop both theoretical insight and practical skills to address real-world mobility challenges.

Join us in shaping the future of sustainable mobility

Visit the  course page on the CIVIS website for more information on the course, its requirements and how to apply. The application process closes on 31 July 2025, so make sure you fill out the form before then to avoid missing out!
