Language Centre: Course registration for University of Salzburg and Mozarteum students

Registration from 16 February to 13 March 2026: The Language Centre of the University of Salzburg is offering a wide range of language courses in twelve languages in the summer semester 2026, as well as specialised courses in German and English. Numerous additional services are also available, such as a tandem exchange, the Language Meetup, online language cafés, language advising and self-study materials.
Registration takes place in two phases: From 16 February to 13 March, registration is open to students (University of Salzburg and Mozarteum University). Staff, MORE students, external participants, and Alumni Club members may also continue to register during this period. An appointment is required for registration, which can be booked via the Language Centre website from 11 February at 8:30.

Language Centre course programme for the summer semester 2026

The Language Centre of the University of Salzburg offers a diverse course programme in twelve languages for the summer semester 2026, including numerous specialised courses such as academic and business language, among others. Additional services include a tandem exchange, the Language Meetup, a media library with self-study resources, and language advising, which is integrated into the course “Learning languages: diverse and individual.” Further information on courses, registration, and additional services is available on the Language Centre’s website.

5th PEP project meeting and conference on plurilingual education at Roma Tre University

From 20 to 24 October 2025, the 5th project meeting of the EU project PEP (Promotion de l’éducation plurilingue / Promoting plurilingual education, Erasmus+) and the international conference ‘Bridging voices in plurilingual education: policies, research and education’ took place at Roma Tre University. During the project meeting, several work packages were further developed, including Wikiversity departments for plurilingual education, adaptable good practice examples for plurilingual practices in language education, and a hybrid teacher training programme. The conference offered a variety of formats and lively discussions on plurilingualism in education, research and practice.
