Short Bio
Alexander K. Wagner is endowed Professor of Behavioral Economics and Digitization at the University of Salzburg (PLUS) and an affiliate at the Vienna Center for Experimental Economics (VCEE) of the University of Vienna. In his research, he combines theoretical models and empirical analysis to investigate economic decisions of individuals and firms. Before joining the PLUS in 2021, Alexander was an assistant professor at the University of Vienna, University of Cologne, and University of Konstanz. He studied at the Humboldt-University at Berlin, the University of Toronto, and received a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
