The CF Genomics facility supports users not only in generating high-quality data, but also in turning complex datasets into biologically meaningful results. Upon request, users can receive unprocessed raw data for independent analysis, while additional support is available for downstream data processing, quality control, visualization and interpretation.
Depending on the technology and project requirements, this may include processing of sequencing data, generation of expression or feature matrices, quality assessment, basic statistical evaluation and preparation of datasets for subsequent bioinformatic analyses.
For more advanced and project-specific analyses, the CF Genomics works in close collaboration with bioinformatics specialists at the University of Salzburg. This provides access to dedicated expertise for complex genomics, single-cell and spatial omics datasets and enables analysis strategies to be tailored to the individual biological questions of each project.
Where appropriate, we also support users in selecting suitable analysis workflows, interpreting results and preparing data and figures for further research, presentations and publications. Detailed SOPs are made available to every potential user.
