Access to Core Facility Genomics instruments and the online booking system is provided by the Core Facility managers after the required training has been successfully completed. Instrument-specific training ensures that users are familiar with the relevant workflows, operating procedures and quality requirements before independent access is granted. Detailed SOPs are made available to every potential user.

Not all instruments are available for independent user operation. In particular, selected high-end and technically demanding systems, including the 10x Genomics Xenium platform, are operated exclusively by trained Core Facility Genomics personnel to ensure optimal performance, data quality and instrument safety. For these platforms, measurements and workflows are scheduled and carried out in close coordination with the Core Facility team. For technologies or workflows operated directly by the Core Facility, project scheduling is coordinated individually. We recommend contacting us at an early stage, particularly for complex, large-scale or time-sensitive projects, to discuss sample requirements, experimental design, instrument availability and expected turnaround times.

The Core Facility Genomics facility supports collaborative, academic and commercial projects. Pricing depends on the technology, project scope, required level of Core Facility involvement and the extent of downstream processing or analysis. Depending on the type of collaboration and services required, reduced rates or project-specific pricing arrangements may be available.

Xenium In Situ – Pricing
