Oksana Bulkot is visiting professor at the PLUS Department of Economics in April and May 2023. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Economics at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. Her current research is on topics in international investments and financial markets. Her work in Salzburg concerns the comparative analysis of investment environments in various EU countries and Ukraine. She also gives a course at the PLUS on investment policies in the EU in the European Union Studies program. Welcome Oksana!

18th and 20th April 2023 | Using his typically British humour, former ambassador Leigh Turner welcomes readers to the real world of diplomacy in his new book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Diplomacy – Wie Diplomatie die Welt erklärt”. Leigh Turner served as Queen Elizabeth II’s diplomatic representative in Vienna, Moscow, Berlin, Kiev and Istanbul.
