Heinrich Schmidinger New Chairman of the Salzburg University Conference
The chairmanship of the Salzburg University Conference went from the Privatuniversität Schloss Seeburg to the University of Salzburg. Rector Heinrich Schmidinger will take over the management until the spring of 2019.

University Council Elected Chairpersons
In its inaugural session on April 30, 2018, the new University Council of the University of Salzburg elected Univ.-Prof. Dr. Georg Lienbacher as Chairman and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Brigitta Zöchling-Jud as Deputy Chair. The Council has now officially started its work, with a term of office running until the end of February 2023.
