Florian Huber (PLUS) has been elected as a fellow of the Society for Economic Measurement (SEM). His exceptional achievements in the field of macroeconometrics have led to this recognition as a SEM Fellow. We congratulate our colleague Florian Huber and the other esteemed scholars who have been elected as SEM Fellows in 2023.

The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) will take place in Salzburg form 28 to 29 September 2023. This year’s meeting is organized by Department of Economics of PLUS. Full papers can now be submitted for the meeting until 1 May 2023. Hope to see you in Salzburg for the NOeG!

Oksana Bulkot is visiting professor at the PLUS Department of Economics in April and May 2023. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Economics at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. Her current research is on topics in international investments and financial markets. Her work in Salzburg concerns the comparative analysis of investment environments in various EU countries and Ukraine. She also gives a course at the PLUS on investment policies in the EU in the European Union Studies program. Welcome Oksana!
