With her ongoing dissertation on “Afghan Refugee Women’s Agency through Non-Formal and Informal Education: A Postcolonial Feminist Perspective”, Fatemeh won the prestigious Erika-Weinzierl-Stipend., which is awarded to excellent work in the field of Gender Studies every two years.

Fatemeh received the award in a ceremony on December 4. Her dissertation has been supervised by Prof. Birgit Bütow (Education) and our colleague, Prof. Kyoko Shinozaki. Kyoko deliver a speech to honor Fatemeh’s path and her exceptional accomplishment and aspirations.
