Inaugural lecture: Prof. Dr. Chiara Cabrele

Barrierefreiheit: Kurzbeschreibung des BildesChiara Cabrele studied Chemistry at the University of Padova (Italy) and worked as Diploma student in the group of Prof. E. Peggion (1994). She then joined the group of Prof. A.G. Beck-Sickinger at the ETH-Zurich as PhD student. After a postdoctorate (EU-Marie-Curie) at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried-Munich with Prof. L. Moroder, in 2003 she started her independent research at the University of Regensburg (Germany) (DFG Emmy-Noether Grant). In 2008 she joined the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany) as associate professor of Organic Chemistry. In March 2012 she has received the endowed professorship “Organic Chemistry for Protein Research” from the University of Salzburg.
