19 January 2024 | online: This presentation interrogates the connection between two emerging governance infrastructures embedded in the Chinese Party-state’s latest informatization drive, the “National Civilized Cities Award” (NCCA) and the “Social Credit System Project” (SCSP) through a mixed methods approach.

The course programme for the coming semester is now available on the Language Centre’s homepage. The programme includes courses in 12 different languages. The programme also includes many special courses. New to the programme are courses in Chinese, Japanese and Korean and the course “Learning languages: diverse and individual”.

17 January 2024 | in presence: The film “Backlash – Misogyny in the Digital Age” will be screened at 18:00 at the Literaturhaus Salzburg. There will also be a panel discussion with the filmmaker and experts on the topic of “Gender Backlash”.
