HOW SHOULD GREEN SPACES BE DESIGNED FOR URBAN AREAS? THE YOUTH PERSPECTIVE
After several information events and spotlight talks at various schools in Salzburg, the kick-off workshop with pupils on the topic of “The Future of Designing Green Spaces in Urban Areas” took place in mid-January 2023. As part of the research project “u3green”, young adults are tasked with finding out how child and youth-friendly green spaces in the city of Salzburg are now and should be in the future.
THE MOVING MOUNTAIN
“The moving mountain” is a large, transdisciplinary research project on mass movements in mountain ranges, such as those that occur during rockfalls. However, the focus is not the catastrophic impact of these events on residential areas and infrastructure, but rather on the possible positive aspects of landslides or rockslides and their deposits.
