Course Certificate “Social Commitment” 2015/2016
Understand poverty and propose solutions. For the fourth time, The Centre for Ethics and Poverty Research at the University of Salzburg will offer in the Winter Semester 2015/16, in cooperation with the Theologians Center, the Catholic Student Group and the Protestant Student Community, the course “Social Commitment”. An informative meeting will be held on 25 June, 2015, at 18:00 in the KHG, Philharmonikergasse 2.
Conference: Practical Philosophy?
On the 3rd and 4th of October 2013, the Center for Ethics and Poverty Research held, together with the University of Salzburg Department of Philosophy and the International Research Center, a conference on the general topic of “Practical Philosophy?”.
Lecture “Applied Ethics”: Do we need to make people morally better?
As part of the lecture series in Applied Ethics, University Assistant Dr. Norbert Paulo (FB Legal and Social Philosophy) will speak this Wednesday, 11 March, 2015, about the opportunities and risks of moral improvement of man.
