Former so-called main camps such as Mauthausen now not only serve as memorial sites, but also serve as valuable educational institutions, primarily through an extensive tour program. Smaller sub-camps, on the other hand, often remain largely excluded from collective memory, as well as from pedagogical treatment of the Nazi era.

Markus Grimm Becomes Honorary Professor at the University of Salzburg
Markus Grimm, Head of the Legal Department of the Medical University of Vienna, was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the University of Salzburg for his outstanding scientific achievements. He teaches at the Faculty of Law in the Department of Civil Law.
