Graduates from the year 1968, among others, included Univ.-Prof. Hans Heinz Fabris, who helped shape the development of Communication Science from the “Institut in der Aktentasche” to the large Department it is today, and the educational scientist, Monika Rothbucher, at the University of Salzburg, which was re-established in 1962 under her father, the former Governor Hans Lechner. On 6 December, 2018, the University of Salzburg will host the WTZ Training Day on the subject of Kommunikation, Dissemination und Verbreitung in H2020 projects.

From 3 – 7 December, the SESAR Innovation Days 2018 will take place with the participation of the University of Salzburg. This is the most important European Aviation Conference, and is held every year in another country in Europe.
