Wissenschaftler der Universitäten Salzburg, Torun (Polen) und Potsdam sowie der Senckenberg-Gesellschaft für Naturforschung weisen in ihrer aktuellen Studie nach, dass Schmetterlinge im Bundesland Salzburg empfindlich auf Klimaveränderungen und intensivierte Landwirtschaft reagieren. Die Studies erschien im Fachjournal Science of the Total Environment.

2 June 2023 | in presence: The lecture addresses the question what timespan (detection) dogs are able to identify, find and follow human scent in an urbanenvironment. We investigated together with the Austrian and Bavarianpolice the possibility of person tracking dogs to identify humans by aged scentsamples in the lab as well as in reality by laying trails along crossing with an agebetween one and 64 weeks. We also compared the efficiency of dogs traineddifferently to follow human tracks.
