Exhibition “Women’s Work in View”
Ebensee is well-known, both as a historical place of salt processing, and of the concentration camp in the Second World War. Less well known is the over 100-year history of the textile industry in the city. Hundreds of women worked for several generations in the spinning mill and weaving mill founded at the beginning of the 20th century.
Sabine Seichter, New Member of the “European Academy of Sciences and Arts”
Sabine Seichter is Professor of General Educational Science at the University of Salzburg’s Department of Educational Science. Now she has been appointed full member of the “European Academy of Sciences and Arts” in the Humanities class.
