PhD candidate participated at BSE summer school
Tobias Scheckel, PhD student at the PLUS Department of Economics, recently participated in the Macroeconometrics Summer School organized by the Barcelona School of Economics. He reflects upon an experience of “great new insights and impulses”.
The summer school lasted for one week and consisted of lectures in the morning and practical sessions in the afternoon. It covered recent advances in the Bayesian estimation of multivariate time series models. The classes were accompanied by social events and a networking dinner. Tobias is grateful for the opportunity to get to know BSE and other researchers from all over the world and excited about applying the newly gained skills in his own research.
