PhD student participated at PSE Summer School
Petra Tschuchnig, PhD student at PLUS Department of Economics, recently attended the summer school “Microeconometrics and Policy Evaluation – Modern Estimation Methods and Machine Learning” at the renowned Paris School of Economics (PSE). She is “grateful for the knowledge gained and the amazing people I met!”
During the Summer School, PSE professors gave lectures in the mornings which were then applied to practical examples in the afternoon sessions. Petra also had the opportunity to present her ongoing research about the causal impact of vaccination on social distancing during a workshop, receiving valuable feedback from professors and fellow participants. She looks forward to applying her enhanced skills and knowledge to her research, making innovative contributions to the field of health economics. We are happy that Petra greatly appreciated the cultural exchange and networking opportunities provided by the PSE Summer School.
