PLUS students take part in the Jean-Pictet Competition in Nepal

Congratulations to our students Marlene Wimmer, Sabina Chandran and Marcella Bachmayer who have been selected to participate in the 44th edition of the prestigious “Jean-Pictet Competition” in Pokhara, Nepal.

Particularly in times of crisis, when the validity of international humanitarian law is called into question, it is crucial for young students to be trained in international law by taking the law out of the books. The Jean-Pictet offers this unique experience.

The students of the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg are supervised in their preparation by Mag. Angela Morello, Dr. Wim Zimmermann and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Kirsten Schmalenbach from the Department of Legal Theory, International, and European Law.
