UNIGIS MSc 2006 launched!

UNIGIS qualifications are highly regarded to build careers and to enhance professions in the geoinformatics industry. Students from all across the German-speaking countries are exposed to foundations, methodologies and new developments in geoinformatics.

The UNIGIS programmes emphasize fundamental knowledge applicable throughout long career phases. Software skills for a variety of professional systems are acquired in parallel, but are considered in a supporting role. Teamwork and project management are built as critical skills. Today?s highly complex architectures and applications require collaboration of experts from complementary fields.

In addition to the evolution of geoinformatics, technologies for eLearning online are  making rapid progress. The UNIGIS class of 2006 for the first time has the opportunity to work with ?Blackboard Backpack? to continuously synchronize their online learning workstations and build their own learning pathways and to support mobile learning.

We wish all new UNIGIS students well on their way towards their MSc degrees and beyond in their pursuit of successful careers in the world of GI!
