From Lecture Hall to the Workplace (Event held in German)

Evening Talk with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ines Weber

Ines Weber is Professor of Christian Personality Development at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Catholic Theology, University of Salzburg.

The World of Work Is Changing – Make Your Profile Count!

Perspective shifts, interdisciplinary thinking, transfer skills, empathy, and openness – these are all competencies you develop in a (humanities) degree program. They qualify you for far more career paths than may appear at first glance.

At the same time, the job market has changed significantly in recent years. Traditional career paths are becoming a thing of the past. The Austrian Employment Service (AMS) now works with competency profiles.

What does this mean for you as a student today and a graduate tomorrow? Let’s explore this together in an open conversation.

We warmly invite you and your fellow students to join us for an inspiring evening of questions, new perspectives, and exchange. This event offers space for reflection, networking – and maybe even your first step from the lecture hall into the workplace.
