History of the Project

The Nan-O-Style project is based on previous work of Prof.  Prof. Albert Duschl, who has started collaborating with the European who-is-who in nano sciences already more than a decade ago. Albert coordinated several EU projects in nanosafety, some of them having a strong educational focus (e.g. NanoTOES and  NanoEIS). Currently Albert pushes Salzburg for developing as a prime training site for nanosafety experts within the European Center for Risk Management and Safe Innovation on Nanomaterials & Nanotechnologies ( http://www.ec4safenano.eu).Nano sciences are a typical multidisciplinary research field, a best practice example for education across all MINT/STEM subjects.
